Brief Description:  Longeron - Process of bending the curve.

Just like the instructions say, clamp it, preload it , and wack it close to the clamp jaw. On my first round I wacked it 3 times.

What can I say about this. I had to work it and re work it. Too much bend, not enough bend, too much bend, back and forth. Then you notice you have intoduced a bend downward 90 degrees from what your trying to do. The instructions say this can happen. You just turn it in the vise 90 degrees and bend it back by hand. Doing this however reduces the bend on both axis. Crap. Back and fourth you go.

I think it helps to reduce the unwanted bend if you lift up when you make the preload bend horazontally.

You'll need a glove on the hand that holds thh pre bend. Don't really have to mention this because after one wack you'll discover for youeself it's required. Ouch.

Image 2 shows the template matching my curve.
Image 3 shows the longeron turned 90 degrees in the vice and checking for bends 90 degreees from what I want. This picture I have taken out the unwanted bend.
