Brief Description: F-704 BH - Drill cover support rib and stiffener.

On each side of the spar center section are 2 types of "Cover support ribs". 4 in all. The cockpit floor will screw to them with #8 screws. The forward side has a pre bent Z bracket that is pre drilled. The rearward side has a AA (aluminum angle) stock that needs to be cut from 1 of 2, 6' stock. I deviated from the plans and drilled both of these parts at the same time.
As in image 1 I started with the aluminum angle. Put a vertical line on it. Line this line up to the holes in the spar, clamp it and drilled all 5 holes. Remove the aluminum angle, debur, re-cleco in place.. Then cleco the predrilled z bracket on the rearward side., clamp, remove 1 cleco, drill to #19 to support a #8 screw. Re-cleco with a #8 cleco. Remove opposite cleco and drill again with #19 bit. Done. all holes have perfect alaignment.
