Brief Description: Firewall - Debur and polish stiffeners.
Here I'm just deburing and polishing the stiffeners with a scotch bright pad. I bet most builders skip the polishing with the scotch bright pad.
Me, I do it for 7 reasons - 1.) Any burs just outside the counter sunk hole gets removed. 2.) The scotch bright pad removes any burs from holes the deburing tool does not get. 3.) All other dents and scratches are removed. 4.) Rubbing a pad over it all cleans it. 5.) It doesn't actually get polished, it gets micro scratches. This is better for the primmer to get a good grip. 6.) They look better. 7.) It feels good to do it.
