Brief Description: Firewall - Match drill 601J's to firewall. Part 1.
These fat 601J angles need to be match drilled along with the 2 under lying gussets. I just passes a bit through the small 601H gusset instead of match drilling. I final drilled the 601G gusset after match drilling the 601J.

Image 2 shows a close up of the firewall along with th e 601J angle, 601H small gusset and larger 601G gusset.
Image 3 shows the 601J clamped in place. I used the small 601H as a temporary stand off to keep the 601J in propor position for drilling. I taped it in place so that it would not fall inbetween the firwall and the 601J angle. Also notice the 3/16, #40 drill bit under the 601J. The plans call for this space. I used the drill bit to space it up.
