Brief Description: Firewall - Make the 601J's, Part 1.
The left and right 601J's are the first part the instructions tell you to make. So, here we go. It's made from AA-187x2x2 1/2 stock. Thats Aluminum Angle, .187" thick, 2" by 2 1/2".
The hard part was finding that stock part in all the parts I've got stored away. I finally found it. Image 1 shows my joy. I'm thinking of reorganizing the shelves such that all the stock parts are together on one shelf.
First, cut 2 3" long pieces on the band saw. Next, cut the angles, again on the band saw.
Next was to use my belt sander with course paper to sand right up to my markings. Worked great.
