I waited to drill second elevator horn push tube hole until after the HS is drilled and secured to the fuselage. Here you can see my drill block clamped in-between the horns. Simple matter now to drill the other horn with a #30 bit.
Now to enlarge the 2 horn holes for a AN3 bolt I left the center drill block in place. From each side I drilled with my 2 step 0.187 drill bit about a quarter inch in. Then , removed the center drill block and reamed each hole with the 3/16 reamer. This reamer is cool. The shaft is under size so that I can drill each horn using the other horn as a drill guide. Nice. Got the reamer from Avery.
