Brief Description: Mark hole loc on F-711C HS attach bar.
The plans actually have you mark and drill these holes, using called out dimension, way back when you build the aft fuselage. Not a good idea. How would you know that the marked and drilled holes back then would be positioned exactly to go through the HS 703 main spar aluminum bar?
I used the exiting row of rivets that are in the center of the HS spar to transfer hole locations to the vertical F-711C HS attach bar . This will assure that when I match drill through the fuselage vertical attach bar the holes will be centered on the HS spar aluminum bar. Much better idea then the plans.
Again I match drilled these holes through scrap 1/8” aluminum bar.
