Brief Description: Roll Bar - Finnish drilling straps to bottom chann
Here you can see I again used the match drill method to match drill the outside strap using the previously drilled channel flange as a drill guide. I used lots of clamps to make sure the end result is a straight roll bar.
In image 3 you can see I used the tooling hole to help clamp the channel down flat using a screw and large washer. This is the location of the large 1.5” hole that the plans have you drill out before all this drilling. I will drill that large 1.5” hole last. I used that tooling hole now for 2 things.
1 - To cleco the bottom channels to the top channels for channel end trimming. 2 - To use the tooling hole to clamp the channel down flat against the jig.
