Here we simply clamped the 631E splice plate and match drilled through the roll bar channels. After all the holes were drilled I moved clecos to the opposite side. This gets clecoes out of the way when we fit the top channels. Bruce’s jig already had the hole it the jig for this. Cool. Thanks Bruce.
Issue - Located the 631E splice plate is not clear. The planes say to “center it laterally”. The written word says to just center it and drill. Look at drawing 39 carefully. It shows the 631E splice place is not centered vertically. The plans don’t show exactly where it should go but it does need to be lowered. If you center it vertically, your holes through the 732D angle will be very close to the vortex. So, just take note. Lower the 631E splice plates.
