Brief Description: Remake top F-786A Fuse. J Stiffeners.
The fuselage gets a total of six F-786 J Stiffeners. 2 on top, 2 in the mid section and 2 at the bottom. I made the ends of all 3 types with the complex end trim as shown on drawing 18. But it has now come to my attention that the aft end of the top 786A stiffeners don’t require this complex trim. Crap. I made these stiffeners months ago.
Off to Van’s to get two new 6 foot raw J Stiffener material.
Each image shows the old and new top stiffener. Note image 3 showing the new ends that are not complex trimmed, but they do have a slight angle to them.
