Brief Description: Qualify ATO-1-3 & Cut out trim tab opening

Qualified 6-ATO-1-3 Aileron Cutout Channel that was made in the press brake with both bends at 73 degrees. Used the leaf brake to finish the 90 degree bend.
Cutout the aileron trim tab opening.
Process:
1) To get the snips started, drill 5/8" holes, top & bottom, 1/4" away from trim line using Blair cutter, piloted drill first with 1/16" drill to keep the cutter in place.
2) Snip from trailing edge forward with avaition snips staying 1/2" away from trim line. Make another cut closer, using the other hand snip, to trim to remove about 1/2" opening.
3) ProSnips (offset snips) staying 1/2" away from trim cutout length, top & bottom. Snip trailing edges, top hole to bottom hole, to remove large piece.
4) Using a Pipin file, file radius to the intersection corners, top & bottom.
5) Starting from the middle, final trim, split the line, towards the corner radius. Be careful at the end of the cut. (better to break it off than to slip & cut into the radius)
