Using 80 grit paper, sanded back the dry micro to flair with cowl and flush with side pin tab. Popped tab out to reveal the now recessed "pocket" for the pin tab. I'm very happy with how this turned out because at the same time, was able to close up the gap between the top and bottom cowls along this inlet curve.
