At the suggestion of those who have gone before me, I bought a 100 Deg countersink stone to "touch up" the inside holes faces to eliminate any sharp edge and the outside countersinks holes. I can see how this would help get rid of any tiny chipped spots that could lead to a crack later.... or during the screwing the canopy to the frame.
