Brief Description:  Sand Targa Strip, Clean, Micro

I am very pleased with how my fix turned out. The right bottom corner that had the large void bonded very nicely and the inside layer of fiberglass turned out perfectly as well - no bunching up of the fiberglass while the canopy was being closed. Also, that inside layer contoured very nicely around the zig or transition from the plexiglass to the fiberglass. Having the canopy closed while the inside layer of fiberglass cured insured a perfect fit.I spent a great deal of time sanding the leading edge of the fiberglass targa strip flush with the electrical tape. I want a nice smooth transition here from the plexiglass to the fiberglass. Once this sanding was done I removed the electrical tape along the front edge and then added a fresh line of tape about 1/8" forward of the fiberglass. I then sanded this strip of plexiglass and vacummed everything. I then mixed up a large batch of micro and covered the fiberglass and 1/8" strip of plexiglass with the white frosting.
