Brief Description:  Sand the Flox Around Ears; Tape/Sand Plexi & Skin

Matt, Mikhail, Stevie, and I had a great time at Oshkosh this year. The same couldn't be said for Ben. He called while the rest of us were driving there and said he had a problem. He was peeing blood and said he had to go to the doctor's to get checked out. He called back later and said the doctor thought he had passed a kidney stone and now just had a urinary tract infection. So, with antibiodics in hand, he flew from Las Vegas into Milwaukee where we picked him up. It was all downhill from there. He started having pain and only made it to one day of the show. The rest of the time he spent in the hospital on some high-powered drugs waiting to pass the real thing. Matt took him to the hospital the first night, then he came back to the hotel and rested and then he ended up taking a cab back to the hospital while the rest of us were at the show. He didn't want to put us out. Sheez, we were only 5 minutes away since Matt was finally able to get us into the Farifield Marriott right in Oshkosh less than a mile from the airport. It was kind of dicey trying to figure out if we were going to have to reschedule his flight out of Chicago and stay a few extra days. The hotel was great and said they would have a room for us if we had to stay since this was an emergency. We ended up keeping our original plans and Ben was discharged on Saturday around lunch time. He was felling much better but tired from all of the drugs. We checked out of the hotel around then as well and Ben spent the afternoon sitting in the Van while the rest of us enjoyed our final afternoon at the show. We all left Oshkosh around 5PM and dropped Ben off at O'Hare in Chicago around 8PM. Poor Ben.Anyway, we're all back safely and Matt and I and the kids had a great time! And the fun isn't over yet. Stevie and I will be spending the week with Matt, Mikhail, and Jesse doing fiberglass work on my canopy. We started by taping off the area of plexiglass and aluminum that will be floxed, glassed, and micro'ed. Then we sanded everything with 40 grit.
