Brief Description: Trim Forward Edge of Rear Window; Dimple Top Skin
Next I warmed up the basement again and clecoed the rear window back on the fuselage. I then marked the forward edge using the reference line on the rollbar for the final cut. I then removed the rear window and spent a fair amount of time shaving the leading edge down to the line. I couldn't really use the cutoff wheel at this point since there wasn't enough to trim, but there was just enough to make shaving the edge with the Avery plexiglass tool a lot of work. I went through a couple of iterations of trial fitting the window to see how close I was and then shaving some more. The Avery plexiglass tool really does a nice job of cleaning up the edges. I do believe I am done trimming the rear window!Once the rear window plexiglass work was done I dimpled the top skin for the screws.
Rear window installed; forward edge marked for final trimming
