Brief Description:  Remove Plexi, Drill Splice Plate to Channel

Once I had the F-631A channels securely clamped where they needed to be such that there would be no gap between them and the plexiglass canopy, I removed the canopy so I could drill the 2nd F-631A channel to the C-703 splice plate.Since the C-703 is actually mounted on the aft web of the channels, and since the rollbar does not allow access to the splice plate, I used the drill jig that I made and had clecoed to the front of the channels to match drill the 2nd channel to the splice plate. The jig worked great. I used one of my wood clamps to make sure the top and bottom flanges of the channels, jig, splice plate, and rollbar were all in line with each other before match drilling the remaining channel to the jig/splice plate. The second picture shows the jig (and splice plate on the back of the channels) clecoed to the channels and the wood clamp removed.Time to drill the bottom ends of the channels to the WD-725 side rails.
