Brief Description: Drill Aft C-702 to WD-716 Tube to #30
With the plexiglass canopy removed the next thing I did was drill the aft line of rivet holes in the C-702 skin and aft tube of the WD-716 frame out to #30. The three outboard most holes have a significant gap between the skin and the tube. The gaps were large enought that I couldn't put cleco's in these holes without seriously deforming the skin. I'll have to make some sort of spacer or shim for these holes.
