Brief Description:  Clamp/Drill Left Side Rail

I marked and drilled the rivet pattern on the C-704 splice plate that joins the two C631 canopy frame channels. The instructions then have you drill the splice plate to just one of the C631 channels. Unfortunately, I did this to the wrong end. Damn. I may be able to salvage this but it will depend on the edge distances of the holes that I need to drill on this end for the WD-725 side rails. I'll probably have to buy one C631 channel but maybe I'll get lucky. We'll see.Well, I clamped the C-704 splice plate to the other C-631 canopy channel,,,this time to the correct end, and drilled the channel using the holes in the splice plate as a guide. I then positioned both channels together on the rollbar and clamped them down tight. The instructions are actually out of order at this point. Several builders have indicated on the RV-list that you shouldn't drill the aft ends of the WD-725 side rails to the bases of the C-631 channels until you have the plexiglass in place and can push the channels up and out against the plexi. Sometimes you get lucky and drilling now as the instructions indicate works out ok, but in many instances doing so now causes a gap between the plexi and the channels.Since I already messed up one end of one of the channels I decided to follow the instructions and drill everything now. Maybe I will not only get lucky with the edge distances that I mentioned above, but also with having no gap between the channels and the plexi when I get to that point as well. I'm keeping my fingers crossed.Anyway, once the channels were clamped to the rollbar, I then clamped the forward and aft ends of the left side rail to the channels and to the frame. I used the 0.025 piece that will be used for the skirt to help position the side rail flush with respect to the left side skin. The 1/8" aluminum spacers were also used at this point to set the gap between the side rail and the canopy deck.Once everything was clamped tightly together, I drilled the aft end of the left side rail to the
