The instructions have you make four 1/8" spacers to be used between the canopy rails and canopy decks and a handful of 7/8" spacers to be used to position the two F-631 channels from the rollbar. I used some scrap aluminum for the 1/8" spacers and some of my kids toy wood blocks that just happened to be 7/8" for the other spacers.I always have a difficult time fluting and straightening warped parts. First I did all of the edge prep on the two F-631 channels, including bending the outer flanges to the appropriate angle as called out in the plans (92.5 degrees). Then I fluted and twisted them so they would lie flat. What a pain. Glad Stevie was there to help.
