Brief Description: Debur/Dimple Canopy Side Rails/Longerons
The next thing that I worked on were the canopy side rails. I deburred and dimpled all 4 pieces. I also machine countersunk the longerons. I then temporarily installed the rails and drew a line on where the forward and aft rails overlap. There is a tab on the aft rail that needed to be bent to the contour of the front rail in order to make a smooth transition between the two. I then removed the rails, bent the tabs and then reinstalled them in order to match drill the tabs using the holes in the front rail as a guide.
