Brief Description: F712 Bulkhead: Fabricate Tie Down
I spent this evening working the on F712 bulkhead. This is also a double bulkhead. Most of my time tonight was spent working on the tie down bracket. I cut this piece to length ant then tapered the lower end according to the planes. I then drilled and tapped the threads for the tie down ring. I used a lot of Boelub to help cut the threads. The last thing that I did tonight was touch up the seatbelt brackets, particularly the flanges of the brackets that were ground down to make room for the floor ribs. I bought a small tube of touch up paint that Van's sells that matches their powder coating.
