Brief Description: Drill Flap Hinge to Wing; Remove/Debur
Once I had the flap aligned with the aileron it was time to bite the bullet and drill the flap hinge to the wing. I started on the outboard end and worked my way inboard, checking alignment after every hole. I was nervous about this but everything came out great! The flap is perfectly aligned with the aileron and there is plenty of edge distance on the wing side of the hinge. After the flap hinge was drilled to the wing I removed the flap. I then slid the hinge pin out and removed the wing side of the hinge and deburred it. I then put the flap back into its storage place hanging from the overhead floor joists.
