Brief Description: Dimple, Debur, Edge, Prime Ribs & Spars
This was a long day. I deburred all of the rib and spar components using the hand deburring tool for everything except the inside flanges. I used the pneumatic 90 degree drill with a very low pressure setting to debur inside the flanges. Then everything was dimpled with the hand squeezers and the edges polished using the Scotchbrite wheel. Finally, everything was washed with Metalprep and then layed on an old screen on saw horses outside. I used gray SEM self-etching primer in a rattle can to prime the ribs and spars. I like how this covers but I really need to build a paint booth. It was too windy and I ended up wasting a lot of paint. Also, the rattle can's spewed large drops of paint from time to time since I couldn't hold it upright to spay. Suspending the parts vertically would work better.
