Brief Description:  Bolt Tie Downs and Bellcranks to Spar

I had a bit of trouble with the orientation of the right tie down assembly. Somehow even after temporarily bolting on the right spacers and tie down to make sure everything lined up I managed to rivet the spacers on wrong. The completed assembly would only line up when the unit was upside down - again. Tough to tie down a plane with the eye bolt on the top of the wing! I had to drill out the rivets on the spacers/nutplates, reshuffle the spacers, rotate the tie down, double-check everything, and then triple check everything before riveting on another set of nutplates to the spacers and tie down. My second attempt worked out great - everything finally lined up! Yeah! Once the tie downs and bellcranks were correctly in place, I pulled out my handy-dandy torque wrench and tightened everything up to the proper torque values - which isn't very much by the way! The Front Spars are done! I'm still deciding if I want to prime all of the countersunk holes for the fuel tanks and access panels. If I do it will be with a small artist's brush and rustoleum. Until I make that decision I will now move these into the crawl space and start working on the rear spars.
