Brief Description: Sand Micro on Empennage Fairing
I did remove the empennage fairing and the micro there had cured fine. It was maybe 1/32" to 1/16" thick in some places and there was no tackiness at all. The resin fully cured. Strange that it wouldn't cure on the thin stuff. Oh well, I'll know for next time. I sanded the inside edges of the empennage fairing and then fit this back to the fuselage. There are still a couple of places that have gaps particularly on the front edges. I think I'll do another iteration of micro tomorrow. I am out of saran wrap so I need to head to BJ's before on-call work starts at 3:00PM.
