Today I decided to go with another iteration of micro along the inside edges of the empennage fairing for a better fit, especially along the front portions of the horizontal stabilizer where there were still a few gaps. I covered the aluminum surfaces with Saran Wrap, mixed up some micro and spread it along the inside edges of the empennage fairing using a popsicle stick. Then I clecoed the empennage fairing in place and pushed down along the edges to squeeze as much micro out from the gaps as possible. This should make for a perfect fit.
