Brief Description:  Micro Inside Edges of Fairing; Remove Canopy

Today I wrapped the tail with saran wrap to prevent micro from sticking. Then I sanded a 1" strip along the inside edges of the empennage fairing, cleaned it with Acetone, mixed up a batch of micro and buttered up the insider perimeter. I then clecoed the empennage fairing to the stabilizers and fuselage and pressed the edges down until micro oozed from the entire perimeter. Hopefully this will fill in all of the gaps and provide a nice tight fit.Next I had Daisy help me remove the canopy and move it to the paint booth. I taped some plastic on the inside to prevent any paint from getting on the inside of the plexiglass. Then I used some of the left over micro from the empennage and a razor blade to fill in pinholes.
