The angles on the rudder stops that I fabricated some time ago worked out perfectly. I was worried about this given that some people on the RV list had to remake their rudder stops for some reason. I positioned and drilled both rudder stops and clecoed them to the fuselage. After I did this the thought came to me that perhaps I should have waited to do this until the elevators were on. Reason being, there must be 1-1/4" clearance between the max swing of the rudder and the max swing of the elevators. We'll see if I have to remake my rudder stops after all.
