I got in some serious shop time today. This allowed me to position and attach the front and rear HT frames, install the diagonal support, check the tail for twist (using a plumbline, level and squares), install the top plate and support rails and drill all of the holes in the back area of the tail. tomorrow I just need to add the attachment points and rudder cable fairings. As you can see, you end up with a forest of clecoes. Put a few pieces of flimsy aluminum together using dozens of rivets, and you come up with significant structural strength. With any luck I'll be moving ahead to the forward fuselage this weekend.
