Went to California Corvairs to get the engine T0707RK (not RH, as originally thought) that was pulled from a 1963 Monza Convertible. This engine code denotes a 1965 to 1967 110HP, 164 cuibic inch displacement PowerGlide transmission engine with air conditioning. When we examined the cylinder head numbers, we saw that they were mixed (one for 110HP and the other for 95HP). Jeff (the owner) offered to remove the mixed heads and give me a matched set of 3856759 heads from a 1965 110HP 9:1 compression ratio, dual valve engine. Because of this, I was able to watch as Corey removed both heads, making the engine lighter to lift and load. Tom helped me unload the engine, beoming an official grease monkey. (Time: 2.5 hours)
