Brief Description:  Completed the Elevator cut out and bent strip

It was amazing to me how hard it was to take a hole saw to my shiny new elevator to start the cutouts for the rudder clearance. Talk about counter intuitive. Everything to this point is about keeping this looking nice and in one piece. Suddenly you are instructed to hack into the part mercilessly. Once I got over my aversion to the process, it went well. After using metal snips to get the material to within an inch of each edge, I then lightly used the Olfa knife to make straight scoring lines. With this thickness of material, that worked quite well. I detached the skin from the top so I could remove the center channel, then I reattached the skin so I could drill the internal angle to the horn doubler. My new Tight Fit drill worked like a charm. There is no way to do that job without it (or something just like it). Finally I installed the bent strip to clamp the trailing edge of the horn assembly. I don't see this coming apart after it is riveted.
