Brief Description: Made Front Spar for Horizontal Stabilizer
Well, I'm finally getting into a good rhythm of forming new parts rather quickly. In a little over one hour I was able to turn $6.36 of .032" thick sheet aluminum weighing 1 lb 3.2 oz. into a stabilizer front spar costing $57.60 from the factory (plus tax and shipping). My bend line spreadsheet is really paying off. This part was to have a web of 84mm. From end to end (over 7 feet) the part varied less than half a millimeter either side of 84mm.
