Brief Description:  Prepped and primed rudder skeleton

No word back yet from PTI on the verdict about prepping for Zinc Chromate, so I took the safe approach and scuffed with Scotchbrite, then cleaned multiple times with isopropyl alcohol until the towel came off the parts clean. From the first use of alcohol as a cleaner/degreaser until the primer was applied, I wore nitrile gloves to protect the parts from body oils and to protect me from the chemicals involved. During the priming, I also wore a long sleeve shirt, safety goggles and AO Safety Respirator with the R51A Chemical Cartridge. Made drying hooks from romex wire, stirred the PTI Zinc Chromate Primer and applied by brush. Ready to rivet tomorrow!
