Tonight I did more painting (yes, there always seems to be something to paint), then I riveted in the floating nutplates in the front seat panels and arm rest sides. Before temporarily putting things together, I also bolted on the forward torque tube bearing to the center spar. The plans call for AN3-4 bolts, but I found that did not leave two threads protruding above the nut, so I increased to AN3-5 bolts and put a washer on both sides. It worked just fine. It sure is great to see things coming together this way.
