Brief Description: Mounted rear seat support & instr. panel gussets
I did final trimming of the upper seat & baggage floor support (6-B-16-6) and attached the gussets to the face at a spacing of 1120mm, side to side. After confirming that same dimension between the outer edges of the longerons, I drilled and attached the gussets. Next I moved my temporary extrusion forward to the station for the instrument panel. Once again, I set the fuselage width (990mm) and attached the panel gussets. The final step was to mark the center of both my upper seat support and the extrusion so I could check the alignment of my airplane. Using the plumb bob, I was able to confirm that N601VP is straight as an arrow. Now I'll have no excuse if I end up flying off course!
