Brief Description: 2 - Attached rear strobe and tested ELT
I installed the batteries in the ELT Remote Cockpit Panel Interface and the Audio Alert and then reinstalled both units. On the hour, per regulations, I briefly tested the ELT. It transmitted the sweeping tones on 121.5, but unfortunately I didn't get any LED or audio alert. I wrote an email to ACK Technologies and hope to get it resolved soon. Also, I registered the ELT with SARSAT. Finally Joy helped me attach the rear strobe to the underside of the tail.
