Ever since I first installed my 5th bearing oil line at Corvair College 13, I have been concerned about the possibility of rubbing on the back of the starter ring gear. Tonight I removed the old installation and made a straight shot down the pilot's side of the engine. This necessitated the removal of the spinner, spinner bulkheads and prop hub. Since re-setting the pitch on my prop was on my punch list, I think I'll just do it on one of my next sessions.
A straight shot
Straight swivel seal instead of the 60 degree used before
90 degree swivel seal instead of the 120 degree used before to go under engine
