Brief Description:  Finished drilling the switch holes.

We had to take off for four days and drive to the Texas Panhanle to Tulia, TX to attend the funeral of my uncle who was a WWII veteran. He was one of three sailors who survived a Kamikaze crash into the bridge of the USS San Francisco, a heavy cruiser, in a large battle in the Pacific. The Admiral and Captain along with 27 others were killed. My uncle was a Seaman First Class and relayed orders from the bridge and received a Purple Heart. I will miss him dearly. As he told me once, he should have died in 1943 but had lived nine lives. He was 87 years old.

I finished drilling the switch holes on the subpanel and cut a couple of rectangular holes for the Ray Allen trim switches. I then drilled the engine control holes, 1/2" for the throttle, 3/4" for the prop and mixture, 3/8" for the cabin heat. I used 2 3/8" spacing between the controls.
