Brief Description:  Drilled holes in panel plates to cut rectangular h

To cut out the rectangular holes for the Dynon D-180, HS34, D-100, and AP74 I had to measure accurately on the backside of the plates using the Dynon numbers and templates. One must be cognizant of what you might want to add later. I left room on the left and right sides of the D-180 and D-100 to add other instruments later if needed, but for now I want to keep it simple and clean. There is also room above and below the EFIS' for small additions later.

I used the drill press to drill 3/8" holes in the corners of the rectangles to insert the saber saw blade. The idea was to use a straight edge to keep the saber saw going straight. My new Rigid saw that I bought from Home Depot seems sturdy but will the blade saw straight. I'll find out on Thursday since this afternoon and tomorrow (Tuesday & Wednesday) will be consumed with yet another funeral.

The elder of our Supper Club who was 92 years old passed last Friday. I married into this club eight years ago but still had to be voted in before I was legal (Ha, Ha!). The supper club has been going for over fifty years. We will all miss this wonderful man who was a PHD professor in finance at the University of Texas for fifty years. He was a world renowned authority on Small Business and also a WWII veteran. We will miss his humor and his stories!!
