Today I wired the Taxi/Ldg and Nav/Strobe switches that had to be replaced due to loose terminals. The connector end of these circuits were wired yesterday so today I needed to label and crimp the faston connectors to connect to the switch terminals. The switches had arrived from B&C (replaced for free) yesterday, so they were checked and mounted to the switch panel.
My circuits required two or three 18AWG wires to be crimped into one faston connector, therefore, I had to use the blue (16-14AWG) connectors. Three wires barely fit but it worked. The first two switches (top of the picture 1) require longer pigtails for strain relief for the three wire crimp.
The top two switches needed longer pigtails for strain relief.
