Brief Description:  Installed terminal blocks and started stick wiring

After resting my back for a couple of days, today I finally got the terminal blocks installed and started the stick wiring in earnest. There are many double and triple connections on the terminal blocks. I ordered some "Piggyback" terminals from Steirn Air to make multiple connections at many of the terminal block positions. AviKrimp manufactures the piggyback terminals but Stein only had them in the blue (14-16AWG) terminals, so I have to double back the wires on the single crimps while the doulble wire crimps work OK. The piggybacks will be used to connect the wires from the sticks. It's all very "simple" but extremely complicated even with a good schematic drawing. The chances of getting wires crossed is very real unless you have a mind like a steel trap and constantly concenctrate. As they say, "One wire at a time", is how you have to do it.

After we finish this daunting task, we will remove the D-subs from the harness modules and check for continuity for every wire. Believe it or not, the Ray Allen trim switches and LED indicators will be the most difficult to wire and test. They are in parallel with the stick switches and will be used for backup failure of the stick switches. Had I known how difficult this stick wiring would be, I would not have bought the Infinity grips. Oh well, "Ignorance is bliss"!!
