Brief Description:  Worked on pitot/static/AOA system.

We suddenly realized that we needed to finalize the locations of the pitot/static and AOA systems before we added more wires. Things are starting to get a little crowed with wires so putting on the necessary hardware will get more difficult as we go. We purchased the SafeAir 1 pitot/static and AOA packages three years ago and had installed the static system up to the panel. Now is the time to locate the rest of the hardware and tubing behind the panel. Easier said than done!

The two Dynon EFIS's require six connections (1 static, 1 pitot, and 1 AOA) one of each at the back of the EFIS instruments. SafeAir gives plenty of T's, but placing them on the back of the subpanel has presented problems of tubes crossing tubes with no fore and aft spacing. I am working on a system to allow the tubes to pass either above/below or fore/aft (using a channel angle) of each other. Space to cross from the left to the right sides over the middle radio stack forward opening is a narrow one inch at the top of the stack. Stay tuned.
