Brief Description:  Start construction of Aux Battery enclosure.

Having had a headache of problems with the tunnel cover holes through the floor stiffners, I wanted to be sure that the side angle holes were match drilled through the stiffners. This was not an easy thing to do while lying on my stomach over the spar and under the instrument panel, but somehow by using a 90 angle drill I got it done. The clamps held the angles together (against the stiffner angles and over the tunnel cover) while I drilled the #8 screw holes. I then removed the tunnel cover and added the platenuts to the inside. Everything was agonzingly slow but I didn't want to mess it up so I took my time thinking it through before each move. I built it up piece by piece instead of drawing it out on paper and forgeting about some measurement. Cut to length after fitting and then drilling after locating, you get the idea.

I ran out of steam about 6:OO PM and called it quits for the day. If Charlotte hadn't been there to hand me stuff that I had forgotten to take with me under the instrument panel area, I would not have accomplished much. Just getting in and out is difficult for this old man.
