Well, my engine had arrived at the freight depot. I took my F250 pickup truck out to the Yellow/Roadway freight yard and they loaded it with a fork lift. No problem. I called by brother, Clark, on the way home and he said that he would be over to help me unload it. He had given me a gift card for Christmas and I used it to buy a 1 ton hydraulic hoist from Harbor Freight, just for this day, to unload the engine. We took off the top of the wooden crate and easily lifted it off the tailgate. Again, no problems!
My brother then commented, "So that's what $27,000 looks like!''
It is a Red Gold TMX IO-360 with one Slick mag and one P-mag, Precision Airmotive fuel injection, roller tappet cam, foreward facing cold air sump, and a great looking paint job. The engine has a three year warranty that begins after the first start. I was all smiles even with my sprained wrist in a splint.
