We measured our #1 and #2 cylinder baffles down the 1/2" and then decided that the aft and #3 side baffles could also be cut the same.
The #4 baffle which holds the oil cooler took some extra thought and measuring. Since I had raised the oil cooler as high as I could get it, the top box channel fixture of #4 would have to be trimmed quite a bit and would stick up above the aft baffles. I decided as long as it cleared the underside of the top cowling by at least 1/4" it would be OK to cut it down the 1/2", at least on the first pass. Too much trimming of #4 might eliminate the box fixture which must the there to attach the plenum. Too much labor in #4 baffle (strengthened for the bigger oil cooler) to refab. Arggh, I'm not as smart as I thought I was! I'll make the cuts and see how it comes out. I'm holding my breath.
