Brief Description:  Air filter bypass door installed on snorkle.

The second week in December Charlotte got sick and I had to take care of her. She recovered and then we went Virginia Beach, VA for Christimas for a week. When we returned on Dec 28, I came down with the flu which lasted for two weeks. Charlotte took care of me for a week and then I recovered and was weak for another week. I finally got back to work on the project and completed the Air Filter Bypass door on the snorkle.

I located the Bowden cable on the left side of the switch panel. If the filter becomes clogged (snow, ice, bird feathers?), I just pull the cable knob which opens the bypass door and gets air to the engine from the cowling area. The procedure is to open the bypass door and then land to reset the door to the closed postion, because you can't close the door with the cable.
