Brief Description: Fabricated the P-Mag ignition wires and routed.
Today I fabricated the P-Mag ignition wires by following the instruction guide that you download from E-Mag air. Brad had already sent me the auto plug adapters and boots and plug connectors that had to be crimped to the wires. After reading the instruction three times, I took my time and fabbed the wires with no problems. The wires aren't shielded so I used auto wire looms that I bought at Advance Auto parts to keep them separated by 5/8". The looms were made for 6 mm wires so I had to drill them out slightly, but everything went together OK. I did an ohm test on the wires to check that they were good. The high tension wire was rated at 180 ohms per foot. My new wires checked out good.
The most difficult part of the fabrication was removing the outer cover and protection bulk without nicking spiral wound center wire. It was also tedious and time consuming. Oh, well, another job done.
