Brief Description: Started installing parts on the engine.
The first part I installed on the engine was the Plane Power 60 amp alternator. I had to remove the ring gear and pulley to install the belt. I had already installed the boss and safety wired it, so it was easy to hang the alternator on the boss with the bolt. The tension adjust bar was bolted on and safety wired followed by the connection bar between the alternator and the starter. There was no good point to terminate the safety wire at the starter bolt, so I drilled a small hole in the connection bar which worked out good.
Note the wooden chocks under the tires which keeps the fuselage from rolling.
