Brief Description:  Second engine preservation and prop arrived.

I decided that it was time to check the dessecant in the top plug holes on the engine. The weather here has been extremely humid this spring and Hurricane Alex has given us a lot of tropical rain. The plugs weren't as pink as I thought they would be but I decided to change the dessescant anyway. I had ordered some more preservation oil (AeroShell Fluid 2F) and decided to add a gallon to the gallon that I added last September. It had arrived, so I rolled the engine stand out and added the oil and rolled the engine 360 degrees to coat the insides. I forgot about the dessecant plugs so I had to clean out the oil before I added more dessecant. Oh, well!

The UPS man rang the door bell, and I helped him unload my new prop and spinner. I now have a Whirl Wind Aviation 200RV prop, spinner, and Jihostroj governor. Somehow I found enough space in the garage to store more parts! I need to work faster!!
